John Ashton Thomas Chocolate
The annual Schools' Concert at Proms at St Jude's is a highlight of the festival. Bringing together almost 400 children from 10 schools in North London, the concert features John Ashton Thomas' Chocolate, led by DaCapo teacher Will Dollard.
Proms at St Jude's takes singing workshops into schools, giving students the opportunity to learn the repertoire in advance of the festival. The concert day is always a fantastic coming together of young people, joined by Fantasia's musicians.
Every child is given a chance to shine: it is a high-quality musical experience that is an important part of the calendar, both for the local schools and for Fantasia.
Will started his musical education as a chorister at Westminster Cathedral Choir School. He was a music scholar at his secondary school and went on to read music at the University of Glasgow, graduating with an MA Mus. He is Composer and Musical Director at the Goblin Theatre, London.
